Overall, Zephyr is a balanced Warframe and much better thanks to the adjustments made a couple of months ago. Her Prime release only helps ensure that she isn’t a burden on anyone’s party, and if anything a welcome inclusion. Her first ability isn’t the best for your traditional missions, but she comes with everything you’d hope to see, making her adaptable in most game modes. Really, the only thing Zephyr is missing is party buffs, but she’s more of an attack character anyways. She still may not by my favorite Frame to run with, but her mobility is a blessing in areas such as of Plains of Eidolon.

It’s all about managing your Rift and which dimension you’re in. You’re even able to shift in and out of dimensions by rolling (or in Limbo’s case, it’s more of a dash), which leaves behind a portal for teammates to use. He’s a very unique character to play as, and works surprisingly well for both solo and cooperatively play. While playing solo, you can enter a safe zone where all damage is void, which helps in sticky situations. Cooperatively you can freeze enemies in place and even allow your friends to enter the rift – great for activities such as defense or excavation. He’s incredibly fun to play as if you get him down, one that does require some work, but you’ll be rewarded in doing so. Outside of how he plays, Limbo Prime comes with a higher shield capacity, which if you’re skilled enough, you probably won’t even need all that much, along with an increase of armor, and your energy pool. It also comes with an extra two polarities, ensuring you won’t need to Forma him too many times.

In terms of abilities, Zephyr is surprisingly well-rounded, not only being nimble on her feet, but also has survivability and crowd-control techniques that do well in most situations. Bringing her into the Plains of Eidolon is where she shines the best, as she’s able to maneuver across the vast open area with ease, not using up too much energy in the process. Her first ability, Tail Wind, which has absorbed the Dive Bomb attack, is to thank for this, as not only will it allow players to hurl Zephyr tens of meters into the air, moving away from the action and exploring spots of a map you once thought inaccessible, but they’ll be able to have her come crashing down for impact damage. This combined with her floaty nature while airborne ensures you’ll be going from corner to corner in the Plains of Eidolon in no time. With that said, for standard linear missions, this technique is less useful, at least outside of dashing forward at a rapid pace.

The Kuva Grattler is the only weapon on this list that could be classified as a "lackluster" weapon. This Archwing weapon is effectively a flak cannon, firing explosive shells at targets that deal moderate damage. At least, they're supposed to. For whatever reason, Digital Extremes decided that the Kuva variant's base damage should be halved. A Kuva progenitor bonus offsets this negative, but is the farm for a 60% element worth
Unfortunately, the same praise can’t be said about the Kronen Prime. The standard Kronen wasn’t anywhere near being a top tier weapon to begin with, but the Primed version doesn’t do a whole lot to justify the need to immediately go out and create a build with it. A lot of the problem comes down to feeling underpowered, especially considering weapons such as Telos Boltace has better stats. Sure, Kronen is slightly faster, but everything about it is weaker and less capable compared to Boltace, which is a massive disappointment. That’s not to say it’s bad by any means, as I personally enjoy Tonfa style weapons more than most, and its speed and status chance are still solid, but it’s hard to recommend a weapon such as this when it’s not only outclassed by numerous other weapons, but it isn’t even the best melee weapon in its own class.
Along with Zephyr, players can also get the Primed versions of both Tiberon and Kronen. Of the two, despite being more of a shotgun player, Tiberon Prime has become one of my personal favorite main weapons. It might seem like a slightly supped up version of the Tiberon, but it’s so much more than that thanks to the three different firing modes. You can switch between Burst, Semi and Auto fire rates, allowing you to go into any situation and have no problem getting out of it. So if you’re looking to pick someone off with a high crit-rate and multiplier, then semi will do the trick (especially great for less agro characters such as Loki). If you get swarmed by enemies and just need to spread your clip fast, then auto is readily at your disposal, and it certainly helps it also has a higher status chance. Finally, burst is what we’ve come to know from this weapon in the past, and it’s just as powerful and capable of taking down individual targets. There’s really a mode for every situation, and a formidable weapon to bring into combat.
Outside of a sharp-edged revamped appearance, Zephyr’s armor has increased significantly from 15 to 75, which could be a tad higher considering it makes her a little more vulnerable, but then again her shields and health remain surprisingly favorable all things considering. Zephyr’s energy tank also has received a 50% bump, which only adds to her maneuverable abilities requiring little energy in the first place. Additionally, Zephyr follows suit with Ash in that she has received a boost in run speed. Even though she’s still not as fast as Loki, she’s a close runner-up alongside Mirage, Nova and Ashe Prime. If anything, Zephyr is the ideal for getting through areas as quick as possible, which could be complimented with Volt’s Speed ability.

As for buffs, Octavia can give her allies invisibility, extra multishot, movement speed, and general damage. Invisibility is the real powerhouse here, giving her team great survivability and great stealth capabilities. You could even argue Octavia is one of Warframe's better stealth characters.

June has been one heck of a month for Warframe. Not only did we receive the long awaited Umbra Excalibur, which was nicely wrapped around compelling story missions, but we also picked up a brand new Prime update that should have a number of players happy. Limbo as a Warframe came out just under four years ago (44 months to be exact), and he wasn’t the most popular because his abilities could be detrimental to a team if not done properly. Fortunately, he had gotten better last year, and it only seems fit that he should be the next on the list to receive a Prime. Based on the scheduling, it could have easily been Chroma or Mesa, or someone a little further down the pipeline, but considering those two are already overly appealing, it might be better to give Limbo some love. We’ve taken a look at how this update holds up, and what stands out above all else.
Airburst is Zephyr’s newest ability and is a solid attack. It throws three projectiles forward and damages enemies in a radius upwards of 8 metres, which can be very useful for mobs. It’s not flashy by any means, but it gets the job done. The third ability Turbulence is a good way to ensure Zephyr will survive most encounters. It puts up a wind shield around the character, redirecting any potential damage. It can be a bit pricey on energy, but in a bind, it will save your butt when things get hectic. Finally, Tornado is one of the better aspects of Zephyr, giving her some fantastic crowd control, especially if you combine it with Airburst, which increases their height dramatically. These things can be devastating when you combine them with the interchangeable elemental damage, especially on enemies with high armor. This is maybe a bit too flashy at times as I’ve had my screen engulfed by numerous tornados, but so long as they’re doing what they’re meant to, it’s a good substitute for other CC attacks.

Like every Prime update, there comes not only an enhanced Warframe, but a side of new weapons, and this update is a doozy. Alongside the agile Limbo comes the devastating Pyrana Prime, which packs one heck of a punch in a small package, and Destreza Prime, allowing for nimbler battles.
Topping the damage charts is incredibly easy for Saryn. This poison-themed Warframe spreads corrosive spores onto her targets that spread when popped, gaining damage the longer they linger. A good Saryn player can ramp up these spores to deal hundreds of thousands of damage per second, killing just about every enemy that isn't immune to Warframe powers. This makes her the ideal Warframe for Sanctuary Onslau

The second weapon added to the arsenal is the Destreza Prime. The Destreza in general has never been a personal favorite due to its limited range, but the Prime version is slowly making me a believer as it can rip right through armor like it’s nothing. This is unlike most melee weapons available, with the Endura being the one exception, as it’s a rapier that’s held in one hand and strikes forward, at least when not sliding. Oddly enough, the Prime version is nearly 10% slower than the standard Destreza, and damages 20% less in Puncture. Fortunately, everything else is boosted, with a higher critical chance and multiplier, along with the remaining attack values raising ever so slightly, and the status effect chance up over 3x what it originally was. It’s definitely a solid critical-centric weapon, and with the boost of status it should help it go further, but really, it’s nowhere near the level of weapons such as the Atterax which have a much wider spread of damage, which can bring entire rooms to their knees. At least it’s more versatile than say the Kronen Prime that came with the last Prime update, and it still holds up as a pretty good melee weapon.

In terms of abilities, Zephyr is surprisingly well-rounded, not only being nimble on her feet, but also has survivability and crowd-control techniques that do well in most situations. Bringing her into the Plains of Eidolon is where she shines the best, as she’s able to maneuver across the vast open area with ease, not using up too much energy in the process. Her first ability, Tail Wind, which has absorbed the Dive Bomb attack, is to thank for this, as not only will it allow players to hurl Zephyr tens of meters into the air, moving away from the action and exploring spots of a map you once thought inaccessible, but they’ll be able to have her come crashing down for impact damage. This combined with her floaty nature while airborne ensures you’ll be going from corner to corner in the Plains of Eidolon in no time. With that said, for standard linear missions, this technique is less useful, at least outside of dashing forward at a rapid pace.
It’s all about managing your Rift and which dimension you’re in. You’re even able to shift in and out of dimensions by rolling (or in Limbo’s case, it’s more of a dash), which leaves behind a portal for teammates to use. He’s a very unique character to play as, and works surprisingly well for both solo and cooperatively play. While playing solo, you can enter a safe zone where all damage is void, which helps in sticky situations. Cooperatively you can freeze enemies in place and even allow your friends to enter the rift – great for activities such as defense or excavation. He’s incredibly fun to play as if you get him down, one that does require some work, but you’ll be rewarded in doing so. Outside of how he plays, Limbo Prime comes with a higher shield capacity, which if you’re skilled enough, you probably won’t even need all that much, along with an increase of armor, and your energy pool. It also comes with an extra two polarities, ensuring you won’t need to Forma him too many times.
It's the hardest question to answer because there is no perfect solution and rely on our community being helpful in a coop game which can only get you so far. As discussed earlier, Leona is best played as an aggressive support that takes advantage of enemies that are alone or have stepped up too close to the minion wave. As a support, she is best played bottom lane with a preferably ranged ADC that is willing to combo with Leona when she dives aggressively. In lane, you're going to want to harass the enemy ADC with Zenith Blade whenever they are alone or trying to last hit a minion . If you don't have wards and an enemy is missing, hide in the brush beside the river to provide vision for your ADC and then punish any enemy junglers that are come to tank. Leona has a ton of wave clear with Eclipse and Zenith Blade, so it is okay to be aggressive and push lane to the enemy tower. This kind of play will also synergize well with Demolish as you can do a lot of damage to the enemy towers early on. Clearing and pushing the wave also provides Leona with the opportunity to leave the lane and help out middle or top. Thanks to her Boots of Mobility, she can rotate to other lanes and easily engage the enemy from the brush. In the middle to late-game, Leona will excel at tanking damage and providing crowd control. Use her abilities to get right into the middle of the fight and draw attention away from your team. Then, use her Shield of Daybreak or Solar Flare to deal damage while immobilizing the enemy ADC.
